Hello Rupma,

Yes, you are eligible for GRE examination.

There is no age and qualification bar to sit in GRE. Students who have completed their undergraduate program can take GRE to get the admission in a PG program. You just have to successfully complete your graduation to be eligible for GRE.

Hope it helps you

Thank you

Dear Diksha, everyone who has registered for and attempts GRE can send upto 4 free GRE score reports. Once your GRE scores are officially processed the free scires are sent to designated recipeints. However this processing of your GRE score will take upto 10-15 days. And you need to select your recepients on the day of the test.

Frankly speaking your SOP will matter alot if you want scholarship you should score above and between 330-340. tell about your interest in the course in your sop and talk also about your academics.

I hope this helps, all the best.

Hi Veena,

Yes it is possible to do phd in mathematics in Canada with a GRE score, but that is not the only criteria for getting an admit as Universities will look at other major factors such as your research work in the field of interest i.e if you have any research publications in any national or international journals, your masters GPA etc.

Note - Not all colleges in Canada require a GRE score for admissions in phd program, do check the admission requirements of the colleges that offer the course you are interested in. Though TOEFL/IELTS is a necessary requirement in all the colleges as a proficiency in English language test.

Hi Vinutha,

Yes you are eligible for the course starting 2020, provided you are done with your graduation this year.
Also, a score above 325 is good for getting a chance at the top ranked universities across US.
Having said that, your gre score is not the sole criteria on the basis of which you will be selected. Your scores play a certain percentage, but other factors on your resume will also be taken into account and would have equal or eve more weightage in your selection criterias to these institutions
Let me know if you need further clarifications.

Hello Aspirant
.
Yes you are eligible.for this exam you don't want any qualifications .
  • During graduation also you can attempt this exam.GRE is valid for 5 years, so you can attempt the exam anytime before 5 years from which you send your application packet(apply for the universities).
  • i would suggest you to take the test, so that you can start applying for admission in for final semester, so as to eliminate any excess time.
.
If you have any questions further let me know.
.
Thank you!!!
