Lajpat Rai College, Sahibabad was established in 1967 as an affiliated college located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The college has a 2.4-acre campus and delivers a variety of courses in 12 subjects integrated under eight degrees for 1,851 total students enrolled. Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the faculty strength of the college is at 37 teaching staff. Lajpat Rai College provides a combination of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in arts, commerce, and sciences besides some specialised courses like Industrial Chemistry and Sanskrit. 

Much modern infrastructure facility creation occurs at this institute to create an efficient learning environment. The Lajpat Rai College has a very well-equipped library containing more than 46,500 books, 21 journals, and digital resources. A separate reading room for boys and girls is also there. The disciplines offered by this college include Arts (BA, MA), Commerce (B.Com, B.Com Hons, M.Com), Sciences such as (B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Industrial Chemistry; M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), and Computer Applications (BCA). Total approved intake to all the courses is 1,851 seats, which reflects the capacity of the college in accommodating a significantly large number of aspiring students in various fields of study.
