Lakshay Institute of Education, Solan is affiliated college which is established in the year 2008 situated at Arki, Himachal Pradesh. The institute is also approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and imparts education in the field of teaching. Located on a very small 2.5 acre plot, Lakshay is an institute that provides a precise experience for future educators. The institute at the present enrols a total of 198 students and currently the faculty strength is 2 which make the learning experience individualised. Lakshay Institute of Education offers only one course in which it trains teachers which is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Lakshay Institute of Education currently has only one course to offer which is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This full-credited course takes two years; the institution has approved the admission of 100 students. The B.Ed programme aims at producing professional teacher, capable of imparting knowledge to the learners after imparting them knowledge and required skills. Although the institute serves this specialised teacher training programme, it does offer the full range of educational study through its other facilities and provisions.

Lakshay Institute of Education offers admission to B. Ed programme to candidates having passed the Common Entrance Test (CET) of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. This means that the standard deviation of the scores makes it easier to select deserving candidates equitably. Candidates are counselled after the CET, and only those in the list of selected candidates of CET are offered a place in the B.Ed programme. Such standards ensure that the institute only admits high-quality students to avoid a compromise of its education quality.
