LNCP Bhopal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy has started its journey in year 2003 and it is a leading college in the state of Madhya Pradesh situated at Bhopal. Being affiliated college under the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) this college is paving its path for the future of pharmacy education for almost two decades now. Located in a small area, 2.5 acres of land, LNCP Bhopal is providing 482 students of different courses in the field of pharmacy along with 39 professionals in faculties. The college offers 5 courses in 3 degree levels, all focused on different aspects of pharmaceutical science. Hence, established as a co-educational institution, LNCP offers education to 366 male and 116 female students, thus it demonstrates the College concern at providing equal educational opportunities in the specialities of pharmacy.

Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy is proud to be able to provide a diverse list of services to cater the educational needs of the learners in LNCP Bhopal. The Campus has separate hostels for Boys and Girls hence ensuring that those who come from different parts of the country have a comfortable place to stay in. Safety is protected with an onsite clinic, and recreation is attended with a good workout in the fitness centre. The college library itself is an information hub with 9550 plus books including subscriptions to eighteen national/ international journals and 45 e-journal facilities. For any students interested in sports, the college has the amenities for almost all type of sporting activities such as cricket, hockey, soccer, volleyball etc. IT facilities are sound, the computerised lab is full air conditioned to sit 50 students in it. Other facilities include neat canteen, fine colourful auditorium, and training/seminar halls for academic and co-curricular activities.

Academic programmes taught in LNCP Bhopal are numerous and cover all fields of study. Readers can acquire five full-time courses in under and post graduate levels offered by the institute. Under graduate, there are B.Pharma over four years with 100 intake and D.Pharma over two years with 60 intake. For postgraduate studies, LNCP provides three specialised M.Pharma programmes: Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology and Third year of Pharmaceutical Chemistry for which total 15 seats have been provided. This has taken the total student enrolment to two hundred and five students across all programmes offered. Out of the numbers of the students, 482 of them graduated in the last academic year which displays the college’s serious intent in the matter of education.

The LNCP Bhopal has a well structured admission policy that is both lenient as well as follows a policy of merit. Regarding examination schedules no specific dates are given, although, as mentioned, the college probably does take into account an applicant’s scores in entrance exams falling under the spheres of the college’s focus. The institute shows a good gesture of supporting its students financially by reimbursing or offering scholarships to one of the top students a year tap, 54 students in the undergraduate and 8 in post graduate in the year 2022.
