Located on Tyonda Road, Ganj Basoda. This is a co-educational institution that has built and nurtured itself as one of the leading colleges imparting quality education for more than five decades. UG is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) & Bar council of India (BCI) it illustrates College’s promise of providing quality academic instructions. Currently, the college has 21 committed faculty members to support the student’s ambitions and achieve their academic dreams.

Lal Bahadur Shastri College provides students with a 13 courses in various fields of study towards core competencies, professional passion and pursuits. The college currently provides four main courses: The envisaged programmes include the BA General, B.Com, BA Computer Application, and B.Com Computer Application. These programmes are formulated to make the students acquire both the academic content and skills that competitions of the professional world can offer. The BA General programme is the largest programme at KAS with a seating capacity of 180 students and the programme focuses on providing education in arts and humanities. affording 200 seats to the B.Com programme for the students interested in commerce and business subjects. Since the college is aware of the need for computer literacy as one of the requirements in the modern world, it offers the BA Computer Application programme with 60 seats and the B.Com Computer Application programme offers 240 seats for enrolment. The richness of it means that the students are able to select a stream that best serves their needs in a certain field.
