Lalta Singh Rajkiya Mahila Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya, Adalhat is a postgraduate college affiliated to the Vidhan Sabha, which was established in 1999 at Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. This women's post-graduate college sprawls over an area of 5.625 acres of campus space and is accredited by NAAC. With a total strength of 3,340 students and faculty strength of 20 the college offers courses in 7 courses across 2 degree courses in the university.

The Lalta Singh Rajkiya Mahila Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya has a variety of facilities it has in place to add to the students learning experience. There is a well-furnished library containing a collection of nearly ten thousand books, journals, and magazines supported by a separate study room with adequate seating. Infrastructure Since the institution is a campus, transport investment is mainly into buses to ferry students around the campus. In order to be up to date with emerging information technologies, the institution has a computer laboratory with 25 computers and 3 printers, where students are offered training in applying the computer. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled; this means that both the student body and staff can access the internet connection. 

Total 7 courses are offered, for all of which the study type is full-time. Undergraduate courses available are 1 (BA), and 6 postgraduate courses are available (MA). In total, there are 330 seats approved for each course, and then there are various seats that have been allotted to different courses like MA Sociology, MA Hindi, MA Economics, and MA English, which consists of 60 seats for each of the courses, while MA Home Science carries 30 seats for each course, and MA Geography also carries 30 seats for each course.

In Lalta Singh Rajkiya Mahila Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya, admission of the candidates on all courses takes place on the basis of merit. The applicants will be assessed through previous qualifying examination results.
