LCRT College of Education, Panipat was established in 2007. The college happens to be one of the prime institutions of this educationally advanced state of Haryana in India. It is a co-educational institute that is affiliated to the prestigious Kurukshetra University and has been granted approval by the NCTE. The campus of the college is located in the village of Mehrana on Gohana Road and has two specializations in education. LCRT College of Education aims to provide the future of all those aspiring educators with a total student enrolment of 488. Its commitment to the quality of education can be gauged by the focused approach in offering only two courses: Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education.

This college has all kinds of facilities, which help in enriching the learning experience of its students. The library is well-stocked with about 10,000 volumes relating to all aspects of education, such as educational technology, psychology, and subject methods. In addition to this, computer laboratories are available on the campus with state-of-the-art computers to enable students to have access to the internet for purposes of being abreast with the latest developments in their use in education. Essentially, with the practical component of the teaching profession in view, LCRT College provides well-equipped science and psychology labs. The language lab helps in the development of much-needed communicating skills, while the educational technology lab concentrates on developing aptitude and overall personality. There are also available indoor and outdoor sports like cricket, volleyball, and table tennis for the sports enthusiasts. There is also a maintained first-aid facility and has arrangements with MBBS doctors for instant medical aid in times of need.

LCRT College of Education runs two full-time courses, a two-year B.Ed. program and a two-year D.Ed. program. The approved intake for the B.Ed. course is 200 seats, and that of the D.Ed. program is 50 students. These courses have been tailored to deliver in-depth training related to methodologies of teaching, education psychology, and classroom management techniques.               

The admission process to LCRT College of Education is as per the policies of the State Government of Haryana. Admissions to both B.Ed and D.Ed courses are merit-based, which means in accordance with marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance tests as stipulated by the state. This allows for fair and competitive admission among aspiring teachers.
