Leela Devi Parasmal Sancheti Kanya Mahavidyalaya, which came into existence in 1996, is one of the women’s institutions affiliated to Rajasthan University, Pali. It is officially affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC), and certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is located on a 10-acre land; it provides 9 courses in 7 degrees; the student enrollment is 788. Currently, the faculty strength of the college is 32 and thus maintain a favorable student – teacher ratio. It offers arts, commerce, science, and integrated teacher education to the young women of the region giving them a complete educational experience.

This college has a number of amenities meant to improve learning environment as well as creating a learner friendly environment. A well structured library is one essential facility that provide a wide range of books both course related, reference and leisure books. The campus has equipped with automatic laboratories for respective departments for practical sessions. There is a comprehensive workout facility for the exercise pound and gym buffs. Through smart classes, the college has focused on the use of IT to support teaching methods in the college. A doctor visits the school often while a residential nurse is in the school to help in matters concerning the students’ health. The campus also has its canteen, auditorium and a shop where students can buy what they need on a daily basis.

Leela Devi Parasmal Sancheti Kanya Mahavidyalaya has a total of nine degrees all of which are fulltime. The institute offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes comprising of BA, B.Com, B.Sc., integrated B.ed courses besides offering various kinds of MA programmes in different subjects. In total the college is capacitated to take 788 students across all courses adding to the common goal of offering quality education to as many female students as possible in the region. Although graduation data for the latest year is however missing the college has set strategic goals of providing academic experiences and relevant skills for future careers.

The Admission for Leela Devi Parasmal Sancheti Kanya Mahavidyalaya is done mainly on merit or the marks secured in the previous examination. For under graduate programmes such as B.Com., BA, B.Sc., admissions are processed based on merit list prepared by our institution by considering the 12th standard marks of the candidates. The combination B.Ed programs (BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed) may also have an entrance examination or can go by the selection criteria as per the policy set by the State Government, university or UT Administration. 

Students are allowed to choose specific subjects of their interest at the time of admission and followed the process of merit and subject availability.
