Narapu Reddy College of Education is a recent establishment for education in the Kadapa campus that started in the year 2016. This co-educational institution established at a small compacted area of land measuring 0.75 acre aims at producing quality teachers. As an affiliated college, it functions under the supervision of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), thus emerging with high quality training college for teachers. At the moment the college runs two full time courses – B.Ed and D.El.Ed having a strength of one hundred students indicating the college’s goal of producing professional teachers. The B.Ed program and the D.El.Ed program are regular course for two years duration each. These programs are intended to ensure that students who enroll have all the right information in becoming good teachers and or administrators in the teaching fraternity. In a year, the college offers intakes for 100 students per course; therefore the college can admit two hundred students for both the programs. Hence this specialized focus enables the institution to marshal its resources and personnel in such a way that it produces top quality educators who will greatly enhance the face of education in the region.
