The institute offers a variety of scholarships to students of MBA and MBA Business Analytics & Big Data programmes. In order to avail of Emerging Leader Scholarships offered by the college on the basis of student's merit in the NMAT and other entrance test scores. There are 75 merit scholarships available under this category. Furthermore, LM Thapar School of Management provides fellowships to students of the PhD Management programme. Eligible students are offered a yearly fellowship of Rs. 30,000 for 3 years which can be extended up to one more year upon the approval of the Director, LMTSM. Candidates without UGC-NET/ valid scores in CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 20,000.

Thapar School of Management provides excellent infrastructure and facilities that include fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs. The libraries are also great for long-term study and Wi-Fi is also available for each student. The university also has the facility of a hostel that is very safe for students. The college ensures zero-ragging policy and a drug-free campus.

Infrastructure available at the LM Thapar Institute for the MBA course was good. In this institute, facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, classrooms, sports complex, etc. were given to the students. Quality of these offered facilities was good. Canteen and mess food were good in taste.
