Lohia college, Churu is one of the oldest college founded in 1945 located in Churu City of Rajasthan state. This co-educational affiliated college offers 46 courses spread across 6 degrees for a student strength of 7,394. Located on a 12 acre site, the college currently has a teaching staff of fifty highly motivated faculty members. Lohia College has many intakes that have numerous programs in arts, science and commerce at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

This college therefore boast of facilities which enhance the learning process of its students. Within a relatively short time span, it has become one of the essential constituents of academic facilities and stores more than one hundred thousand, one hundred and eighty-four different books on various topics. Some of these are as follows; it has a good number of dictionaries, encyclopedia, and specialized reference books. 

The subject science depts. are backed up by several adequately equipped labs for zoology, botany, chemistry, physics mathematics & geography. These labs are designed to facilitate learning needs of both undergraduate and postgraduate students and research scholars. The college also offers support in issues of Information Technology to mirror the trends of innovations in a college.

Lohia College is equipped with full time course in both under graduate and post graduate level. The institute offers 46 courses and some of them are admission favourite ones such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, M.Com, MA etc in numerous disciplines. In all the courses offered, the college enrolls 7394 students which therefore confirms its expansion status as it can accommodate a large number of students. Many of these courses are quite popular and the total number of seats available for all of these courses is 3,690 and these includes BA Hindi – 1,280 Seats, B.Sc Hindi – 420 Seats, B.Sc Mathematics – 210 Seats, B.Com Business Administration – 480 Seats.
