L.Venkateshwaraa engineering college, an affiliated college was established in the year 2001 located in Pulimambakkam, Walajabad, Kancheepuram district in Tamil Nadu. LVEC occupies a large area of 25.17 acres and provides several engineering and management courses. The institute currently enrolls 63 students and employs 45 dedicated faculty professionals. Lavec offers 9 courses under four degrees of BE, ME, MCA, MBA offering specific branches in the field of technology and management.

Despite its young age, the college has many of the new facilities that aim to improve the pedagogy for students. There is also provision for hostel for both boys and girls with all the Requirements such as furniture, water supply, etc The water supply is available round the clock. In the dining halls there available dishes for students which are vegetarian and also non vegetarian. 

With regard to the health and physical needs of its students, LVEC has a health center to address first aid needs of the learners. Those who are interested in regular workout can possibly do it at a gym available in the compound. College also has a library which is also a source centre for gathering over 15000 volumes of books on engineering and allied disciplines including 70 magazines and journals.

All the courses offered are on full time basis in order to uphold the institutes provision of intensive focused courses. even though BE Electronics and Communication Engineering have been approved to offer 120 seats for the course, the specific concerning the number of approved intakes for other courses is yet to be made available.
