Loyola College of Education is a teacher training college situated at Telco, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, which started in the year 1976 at the River View Area of Telco, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. This affiliated college located in 11 acres of land we commit ourselves to build up the future of education. Loyola college of education is NAAC accredited and NCTE approved for admission to B.Ed programme, total admission capacity 160 students. The college has 15 skilled and qualified teaching staff, which make a student-teacher ratio that fulfilling and nurturing academic environment.

The physical facilities in campus at Loyola College of Education consists of various modem facilities for the students. The college library which is a store house of knowledge has current 15071 books in its outshed of which 5075 titled and 3037 reference like encyclopedia, dictionaries etc. The reading room can take 64 students and it should ensure that conducive environment is created in writing and research. For female students the college provides well furnished hostel in 2009 with accommodation of 55 students in 28 self containing room with power/intellect light supply round the clock with pure water supply.

Today, Loyola College of Education has only one course of study; the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This course is full time and takes two years and the approved candidature for the course is 60 students for each year of study. The B.Ed programme is an academic qualification that prepares eager teaching professionals to display essential knowledge, skills and strategies used in the current society. 

Loyola College of Education follows the merits only criteria for admission where marks in the qualifying or entrance test are considered. The admission procedure of the college is according to the Jharkhand state government and the affiliated university norms.
