Prospective students can gain admission through two primary routes: The entrance examination is done using the Joint Entrance Test (JET) or through direct admission. The JET is a typical polytechnic admission examination in the region that checks the learners’ abilities in subjects related to polytechnic disciplines. For those who seek direct admission the institute may factor in performance in qualifying exams although specifics are not given on cutoffs. This two pronged approach to admissions cuts the risk of the institute’s inability to attract a pool of deserving students interested with engineering and technology careers.
