MAM Girls Degree College –Azamgarh also known as MA Memorial Girls Degree College is an affiliated college and focused on education for girls. This college was set up in 2012 and it is in Kolbaj Bahadur Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The institute is PCI approved, thus keeping the teaching field standards at par through the approval provided by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is spread over a small area of 1.6 acre and has total 268 students and 16 faculty members currently. This college currently offers only one course in education whose nature is consistent with the culture of preparing learners for the teaching profession. The college has several facilities that are meant to provide for the learning needs of the college students. 

Accompanying these facilities is an excellent library which meets out norms of UGC for the graduation programs. It has large stock of books, references, periodicals, newspapers and other documents that helps the user which includes students and employees. It also offers various sports for its students to enable them develop good health and spirit of team work. In order to enable student’s practical knowledge learning, the college has departmental laboratories wherein students practice what they have learnt. The college is up to date with modern learning hence the good IT facilities that prepare the learners with the modern world education needs. Accommodations of classrooms are also well furnished complementing learning environment for teaching and development of the students. 

MA Memorial Girls Degree College currently offers one full-time course: the Bachelors of Education degree, abbreviated as the B.Ed programme. This is a two-year program and has intake capacity of 100 as a result of the colleges policy to produce quality teachers. The course being a B.ED is meant to produce teacher who will be equipped with proper teaching pedagogy for them to practice in their respective teaching practice schools. Thus, the college currently has only one degree program, however, the concentration on a specific sphere provides an excellent opportunity to develop a deep and comprehensive approach to training teachers.

Students of MA Memorial Girls Degree College are admitted based on a merit system as prescribed by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the University to which the college is affiliated.
