Maa Narmada Mahavidyalay, Dhamnod, was recognised in year 2003 and is an affiliated college at Madhya Pradesh in India. Located at, Maheshwer Road, Dhamnod, the institute has the flexibility of offering a wide number of undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses. Due to its small size of 594 students and having 16 teachers it enables effective learning environment. The total number of courses offered in this institute is 11 and is part of 7 degree programmes The institute focuses its academic offerings in Computer Science, Biotechnology, Commerce and Chemistry. 

The Maa Narmada Mahavidyalay has laid down infrastructure to accommodate student’s need in terms of learning and resource needs. IT infrastructure consisting of 150 computers with high speed LAN and Broad Band connection makes students and faculty environment more modern technology oriented education. Library is equipped with a collection of books exceeding 15,000 volumes and acquiring different national and international periodicals and journals. And it is quite useful for both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of students. The college also provides well-equipped laboratory for those result oriented, practical knowledge and inequalities. In physical fitness and recreation students have available play area which is an open space of about 4000 square feet and a play ground and locker room with an area of about 1200 square feet. 

Total currently Maa Narmada Mahavidyalay has 11 courses in which it provides undergraduate and post graduate full time course programmes. The course comprises across the discipline wise areas like science, commerce and computer applications etc. Among the significant programmes, it offer B.Sc in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry, Biotechnology, B.Sc in Computer Science, BCA, B.Com, M.Com as well as M.Sc in Chemistry. Running professional diploma courses such as PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) and DCA (Diploma in Computer Applications) are the other courses offered by the college. Though the distribution of the number of seats for each course has not been clearly defined the college student intake capacity is 594.
