Madhya Kamrup College Barpeta is an affiliated college founded in 1971 the college is situated in Guwahati in the state of  Assam spread across 7.7 acres ares. College has been accredited form the National Assessment Accreditation Council of India. A total of 515 students and 27 faculty members are in the institution.
