MAEER's MIT Saint Dnyaneshwar B Ed College, Alandi , Pune: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The MAEER group of institutes has established MIT Saint Dnyaneshwar B.Ed college in Alandi, Pune, Maharashtra in the year 2009. Approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this affiliated college is dedicated to Teacher Education. Located on a relatively small piece of land of two acres, the college provides an opportunity for co-education, that is for boys and girls to study together rather than separately. The numbers of total enrollment of the students are 88 and there are faculties 10 only, so the ratio of students to faculties is very good which assures proper care and better education. The college at the moment has only one program of study – the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) with an approved intake of one hundred (100) students to produce professional teachers to meet the current and future demands of teaching. The college has a variety of learning resources to support the learning needs of our student population.

The well-endowed library doubles up as a learning resource facility and stocks academic and other literature, periodicals, and newspapers The school has been able to stock a plethora of academic and other relevant material and journals, newspapers and magazines in its well-endowed library. Its design is to enhance the users’ intellectual and general growth. The college has well-developed and updated information communication technology facilities included internet and W-Fi in and around the college. For actual training, the Science and Mathematics laboratories are fully equipped with specimens, equipment like carts, models and charts. The laboratory is provided with several instruments and psychological test materials to make the experiments realistic. Those persons who are fiend of various games and sports can avail the well equipped sports facilities of the college which includes all types of sports like kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, football, cricket, chess, badminton, basketball, boxing, wrestling, athletics, etc. 

MAEER’s MIT Saint Dnyaneshwar B.Ed. College currently has a two-year full-time program in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This program aims at TRANSFORMING students into professional teachers who would be competent in discharging their functions in the teaching service. As for this course, the college has an approved intake of one hundred seats thus affording every opportunity for all those who wish to become teachers. Unfortunately, the reports failed to provide information on the number of graduates produced by the college but, the college indeed has set its standards and works proactively to produce good quality educators and trainers in existence with quality education and training.

The admission in MAEERs MIT Saint Dnyaneshwar B.Ed. College also depends on the merit list and mainly marks scored in the qualifying examinations or entrance examination. The college operates under this policy as passed by the state government of Maharashtra and the affiliated university.
