Magadh Mahila College, Patna, established in 1946, is centrally one of the most prestigious constituent colleges in the heart of Bihar's capital. The Government of Bihar has bestowed its Heritage Building status upon it, with an area spread over 9 acres. Current enrolment stands at 3,379 students; there is a faculty strength of 47, and the institution runs 35 courses under 9 different programs.
The college provides a number of facilities to aid in learning and all-round development. Magadh Mahila College accommodates around 300 students in four hostels and has dining halls, common rooms, and Wi-Fi facilities. BA English Hons: The process of admission is a written entrance examination, after which a merit list is prepared. There are 60 seats available.
MA Home Science: Admission is on the basis of a merit list, with 60 seats for this postgraduate course.
BBA Hons Self Finance: The procedure of admission includes a written entrance test and viva-voce exam that is held by the college. The total seats are 60.
BSW Self Finance: Admission is done on the basis of a merit list that is drawn up after holding a written entrance test. The total seats in the course are 60.
B.Sc Computer Application Hons Self Finance: Admission is through a written entrance test, with 40 seats available.

College Infrastructure
Magadh Mahila College in Patna has a well-maintained and student-friendly infrastructure. As a student here, I appreciate the spacious classrooms, which have good lighting and ventilation. Some rooms even have smart boards and projectors that make lessons more interesting. Our labs, especially for science subjects, are equipped with the necessary tools and instruments, allowing us to do practical work effectively. The library is one of the best parts of the college. It has a large collection of books, magazines, and journals, as well as a quiet environment that’s perfect for studying. For sports, there’s a good amount of space to play games like volleyball, basketball, and table tennis. The college also has an auditorium where we hold cultural events, seminars, and workshops, making it a lively place to be. The canteen is decent, with clean and affordable food, which is convenient for students who spend a lot of time on campus.
It is a very Good experience.

The facilities are good including the gym and the turf. Library access is also till 11:30 pm at night . Gym availability is also there for the hostlers till evening so that everyone gets a fair chance to focus on there physical health too making them focused

There are two hostels, among which anyone can be allotted to an candidate. The hostels are generally equipped with basic facilities and comprise twin-sharing rooms. Each hostel has its own food canteen where breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner are provided daily. There are ample options for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian candidates.
