Mahakal Institute of Technology and Management (MITM) was setup in the year 2007 and is an affiliated college based in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Located at Dewas Road, behind the Air Strip, this AICTE recognised college occupies a total area of 10.42 acres. MITM provides various engineering and technology programmes; opening a total of 4 courses in 3 degree programmes. The institute has a total of students intake of 636 while it has a faculty members of 42. MITM is known for its emphasis on Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering along with Master of Computer Applications course.

Mahakal Institute of Technology and Management has number of facilities that have been put in place to support the students. The facility in term of hostels provided for the students includes; There are separate hostels for boys with over two hundred and fifty students equipped with good and well fitted rooms with current facilities. Having a filling of more than thirty thousand books, the library is equipped with over fifty national and international registered journals. MITM currently delivers 4 full-time programmes: a three-year undergraduate programme, a master’s degree in Business Administration, and two MBA specialisations. The under-graduate programmes include – BE in Computer Science and Engineering and BE in Civil Engineering, the post graduate programmes include – ME in Structural Engineering and MCA. The total intake approval of all courses is 228 students, and the BE in Computer Science and Engineering has the highest approval of the students, 120 in number. Concerning the learning activities, the institute aims at giving quality education with effective learner-centred academic teaching based on well-equipped laboratories and ideal information, communication technology resources.
