Mahamaya IT Polytechnic, Kannauj was established in 2016, is a Technical Institution located at Annaugi, Kannauj in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The co-educational affiliated college is AICTE-approved. With a total strength of 384 students and a faculty of 5, the polytechnic offers three diploma courses in varied fields of engineering. Technical education is the hallmark of the institute with a plethora of courses designed to feed into an ever-demanding industry for technically skilled manpower. 

A distinct advantage of the polytechnic is its infrastructure to be a catalyst in making the learning process more effective. Mahamaya IT Polytechnic offers three full-time Diploma programs. Each of the programs has a duration of three years with an approved intake of 180 students with 60 seats in each program. Technical education is emphasized at the institute through its course offerings: Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance, and Diploma in Food Technology. This ensures that students acquire skills and knowledge which would enable them to perform their respective tasks. 

The admission process of Mahamaya IT Polytechnic is as comprehensive as the one during an examination set by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Lucknow, popularly referred to as the JEE.
