Collectively known as the Mahanga Women’s College, this women’s college was founded in 1994 in Cuttack, Odisha. Affiliated with the University of Calcutta, the college is in Pallisahi and has been shaping young minds for almost 28years now. Located in a land of 6.096 acres the establishment is committed to offering quality education to only female students. The college is a small college with a total student enrolment of 224 students and has a faculty of 13 students thus there is adequate care is given to the students. It has more than eight courses in total in the affinity of two major degrees of arts Political Science, Odia, Home Science, History, English, Education and Sanskrit.

Mahanga Women’s College provides a number of amenities to improve the learning process and personal growth of the college learners. It plays a role of an academic/museum in a way that offers resources for learning and or learning-related activities. Some departments have laboratories to enhance practical knowledge because the classrooms should provide students with the practical aspect of the subjects that they teach. College has Wi-Fi connectivity means students are able to access other important documents and can also connect via the internet. In the arena of physical fitness and recreation the institution offer sporting facilities & gym. This is the drama area where students can relax and meet their fellow people in the campus cafeteria.
