The Maharaja College of Arts and Education , Udaipur is an affiliated college for the year 2005 which is situated in Udaipur of Rajasthan. Located on the NH-76, Airport Road, Debari the institution is co-educational and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a small area of 0.74 acres, the college aims to offer good education in Teacher Training. Currently, Maharaja College has 197 students, and the facility has 16 faculty members, which indicates that aspiring teachers can learn in a proper environment.

Maharaja College of Arts and Education has many infrastructures to help supplement the education of the college’s students. The practice library contains teaching aids and academic literature crucial for the academic process. The institution also contains the departmental laboratories for practical training and exercise in handling apparatuses. Maharaja College of Arts and Education presently has just one main course which is the Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.) programme. This non-technical full time course is of two years duration and for which the intake capacity has been approved at 100 seats. Course B.Ed is specifically aimed at offering an adequate preparation of student for professional instruction; thus it provides comprehensive knowledge of pedagogy. Although the college is concentrating on this specific teacher training programme, it is shown to be committed to producing qualified educators of the area.

The procedure of admission in Maharaja College of Arts and Education depends on merit with following the rules and regulation of state Government, UT administration and the university with which it is affiliated. Admission will be offered on the basis of merit and/or performance in the selection test in case of qualifying examination.
