Maharajadhiraj Uday Chand Women's College, Burdwan, began in 1955, and is now one of the leading institutions of women's education. Spread over an area of 5.18 acres, this Bardhaman-based co-ed institute has NAAC accreditation and is a constituent college. At present, there are 4169 students enrolled and 63 teaching faculty members in the college offering a total of 43 courses in 4 degrees.
