Maharana Pratap Mahavidyalaya, Uniara: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Maharana Pratap Mahavidyalaya was established in 2004 and is affiliated under the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajme. This is a co-educational college offering degrees in Arts and Humanities the following undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college is a scaled-down institution situated on an 1.22 acres of land and serves 1,309 students overall; there are 26 professional teachers in the college. It offers four courses one B.A and three M.A courses with specialisation in History, Hindi and Geography. Maharana Pratap Mahavidyalaya with its vision of delivering quality education proposed to produce intelligent citizens of the future society ready to face the world.

Maharana Pratap Mahavidyalaya has various facilities which have been developed with a view of improving the learning process of the students. Accompanying such comforts are a well equipped, computerised library with more than 40,000 volumes. The reading rooms are accommodated with many volume of book which includes more than sixty journals and twelve newspapers for the students to ease their learning endeavors. The institution also provides functional departmental laboratories for practicals for students in the respective disciplines. Thus, to meet all the challenges related to the new years and follow the tendencies of the digital world, the college has equipped itself with rather good IT facilities. Because of the desire to make sure that the students are well developed sports facilities are provided in the campus. The college also has an auditorium that hosts events and seminars to support the colleges academic and cultural life. Other facilities include a health centre, first aid, a gym, a hall for group exercises, and a guest house for faculty members and students and their families.

At present, the college provides four full time courses with being sensitive to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institute offers an undergraduate programmes offering one BA and three postgraduate programmes namely MA in Hindi, MA in Geography, and MA in History. These courses are intended to equip students with sufficient knowledge and skills that meet the specialisations that they undertake. The college has a total intakes of students as 1309 which clearly indicates that the college will always aims to adopt a prestigious student/faculty ratio to make sure that the individual student receives adequate attention/alchemy.
