Maharani’s Science College for Women, Mysore – Dr. A.N. Rao A Women’s college situated in the centre of the city of Mysore, Karnataka was established in the year 1917. This affiliated college recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) possesses a wide spectrum of science courses in undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. Situated on a 5 acre of land, the college holds a total of 4,287 students and having 92 faculty members. The institution boasts of 33 courses in 3 degrees and offers a number of scientific related courses like Chemistry, Physics and Zoology and Computer Application.

Maharani’s Science College for Women ensures that the proper positive learning environment is provided to the students. It provides array of facilities for balancing academic as well as personal development. The postgraduate programmes consists of M.Sc programmes in disciplines like Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Mathematics etc. Also, as a market response to the IT employment needs that are increasing, the college hosts a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Though, there are no details on the number of seats available for each of them; however, the total strength of the college is 4187 students.
