Maharashtra College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is an institution established in the year 1968, right at the heart of Mumbai. This is an affiliated college accredited by the NAAC, National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college here offers a broad spectrum of programmes in arts, sciences, and commerce under undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With 1.274 acres of area, the college accommodates a total student strength of 2,108 and a faculty of 58.

The Maharashtra College of Arts, Science, and Commerce offers a well-conducive reading atmosphere and modern amenities to efficient students. The well-stocked gymnasium encourages tough training in readiness for participation at state, national and international competitions. The college library is a treasure trove by all means and makes up an impressive collection of books and runs the book bank scheme, which benefits over 400 students every year by lending textbooks for the whole academic period. The college caters for 20 courses and full-time undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications and doctorate programmes. The college has courses that are traditional in character, such as Arts, Science, and Commerce, to more modern ones like Computer Science, Information Technology, and Management Studies. It has a total of 2,108 students in all the programmes running with it. The college always tries for the perfect student-teacher ratio so proper individualised attention and quality education can be maintained.

Maharasthra College of Arts, Science and Commerce admits students through the process of merit thus giving scope to suitably eligible candidates to further pursue courses of their choice. The College offers several undergraduate courses like B.A, B.Sc, B. Com., B. Sc in Computer Science, B. Sc in Information Technology, and BMS. 

Besides, there are postgraduate courses of M. Com, M.Sc. in Information Technology, Botany, Mycology and Plant Pathology, Analytical Chemistry, Electronics, and Zoology, besides M.A. courses also being delivered in the subjects of Business Economics, Islamic Studies, English, and Urdu. The doctoral, research-based programmes are offered in Urdu, Botany, and Business Policy and Administration.
