Maharishi Dayanand College of Education came into existence in 2005. Situated in Abohar, Punjab, India, it is one of the most popular institutions that focus on the training of teachers. This is a co-educational institution recognised by Panjab University and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE. Located opposite BSF College on Hanumangarh Road, the college offers two professional programmes in education. Maharishi Dayanand College of Education offers two courses, both being full-time courses in teacher education. The B.Ed. programme has 100 seats and the D.El.Ed. programme has 50 seats.
