Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana, was established in the year 2003. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes to students who want to pursue higher degree courses in the fields of General Medicine and Surgery, Pathology, Oncology, Neurology, and others.
Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Mullana, also called MMIMSR Mullana offers courses which include M.B.B.S., MD., M.S., M.Ch. and D.M. Admission into the courses is given based on the different levels of a common entrance exam: NEET. NEET-UG scores are considered for the MBBS programme, NEET-PG scores are considered for M.D and M.S courses while NEET-SS scores are considered for M.Ch and D.M courses.
At the same time, students are advised to meet the cut-off as prescribed by the MMIMSR Mullana management for admissions. Needy and meritorious students are also awarded scholarships conditionally to pursue their studies at the college. The institute runs its hospital, where students get placed at different levels of study. The institute also facilitates some of the basic amenities, which include hostels, a library, laboratories, a medical centre, and many more, which can be availed of by students.
The MMIMSR Mullana is a co-ed institute, approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is a constituent college of the Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala.

Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed to be University, Mullana was established in 1993 and the university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Bar Council of India (BCI) and others. MMU Mullana is a co-ed institution spread over a campus size of 133 acres. The university offers a total of 107 courses. MMU Mullana also provides various academic and infrastructural facilities to the students. Admission to all MMU Mullana programs, with the exception of M.B.B.S./M.D./M.S., is based on the results of the prior qualifying examination. MMU Mullana admission to M.B.B.S. programs are based on NEET scores and participation in the Director-General of Health Sciences' counselling. Yes with 280 marks in NEET 2020 you could get admission in private colleges, But my advice to you is not to opt for private colleges as if your really concerned about your career you think about reappearing for NEET 2021 and scoring 500+ marks and cracking an seat in any reputed government college. As private colleges would charge you high fees and then you won't be getting good placements compared to government colleges.

No, it's not required. Off-campus, students have access to rooms and various hostel accommodations. However, the MMU hostel offers excellent amenities to both boys and girls. Shared rooms could exist.
