Maharshi Paramhansh College of Education is a general affiliated college founded in 2011, Ramgarh, Jharkhand, India. Located close to the Civil Court on National Highway 23 at Huhua Kothar, this school is a co-educational college for teacher training. It is accredited to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). With a campus spanning 0.849 acres, the institute offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. The college has a total intakes of 400 students, with equal number of enrolments, and has 37 members of faculty.

The college continues to established various facilities for improving the learning environment of its students. The library that forms an integral part of academic facilities has more than five thousand books which includes all the subjects of B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses, periodicals, newspapers, and magazines related to education. It has one reading room which is capable of holding one hundred students at a single time. The curriculum laboratory as a support facility for Mathematics and Science subjects is well outfitted with scientific apparatus, models, charts, and graphs for practical assignments. The college also has ICT & ET lab with the recent Personal Computer system, Scanning and printing facility and multimedia facilities. From recreation, the institute has provision for indoor and outdoor games facilities, badminton and volley ball courts, Table tennis, chess and carrom boards. It also has a canteen for taking foods and snacks, a health centre with a first aid section and internet connection is also available on the campus.

Maharshi Paramhansh College of Education offers two primary courses: Professional programmes include Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) And Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.). Both are full time programs and the length of the programme is for two years each. They intake 100 students in B.Ed programme and 150 students in D.El.Ed programme making it a total of 250 students. These are specialised programmes whose aim it is to produce trained teachers to teach at various classes.

The admission criteria to Maharshi Paramhansh College of Education are to have a valid rank in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The college follows the admission established policy of the State Government of Jharkhand and the affiliated University. For the B.Ed. programme as well, candidates are admitted following their score on the qualifying examination or entrance examination depending on the existing government and university rules and regulations. Likewise, enrollment in the D.El.Ed programme is conducted is done on merit basis depending on the marks scored in the qualifying examination or entrance test as per state government or UT administration rules.
