Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Nanded, was formed in the year 2000. This is a premier affiliated college having a spacious campus of 20 acres near the airport at Nanded in Maharashtra. The college offers programmes in computer science, biotechnology, and electronics. In total, this college has a student enrolment capacity of 1,504 and 13 faculty members, thus maintaining a good student-teacher ratio. With 3 degree levels, the college offers 8 different courses in computer science, biotechnology, bio-informatics, and electronics, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Computer Science and Information Technology has a range of modern facilities that support its academic pursuits. MGMCCSIT follows the merit-based principle regarding the process in which admissions are made. Admission to the undergraduate courses is generally made on the basis of the marks/grade secured in the qualifying examination (after 10+2 or equivalent examination). The postgraduate programs guarantee admission solely on merit, based on the performance of the candidates in the respective bachelor's degree programmes.
