Mahatma Jyotiba Fule Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college was established in 2013 situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This co – educational institution is located on five acres and is solely focused on the Ayurvedic type of education. The college being affiliated to CCIM offers a four and half year course in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. The institute had a total strength of 484 students and a faculty members’ strength of 49, enabling the institute’s student teacher ratio to remain quite healthy. The college has a well-furnished and stuffed library this is the collection of books related to Ayurvedic, E-Books and other digital data. Facilities: Students perform their practicals in modern laboratory practicals in Kriya Shareer (Physiology), Rachana Shareer (Anatomy), and Roga & Vikriti Vigyan ((Pathology). The campus also has a 325 sqm auditorium for use in seminars, cultural activities and conferencing. To accommodate students’ needs, there are in-campus developed hostels for boys and girls which provide comfy accommodation and facilities. The college focuses on technologically advanced with wireless connectivity smart classes and very good IT facilities to improve learning.
The institute provides the full-time integrated course Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) that is continued for six years. According to the approved intake capacity, this program has 100 seats to proves the college’s capability to cater equal quality education to standard Ayurvedic students every year. This course of BAMS is aimed at providing students with a solid academic background in traditional Ayurveda so that they might have promising jobs in India’s traditional medicine system.
Currently, the admission criteria at Mahatma Jyotiba Fule Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya are conducted based on the scores obtained from National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS Admission Board NEET-2021, Jodhpur, Rajasthan is responsible for counseling the admission into government and self-finance Ayurvedic college in the state. The selection criteria are a pass in 10+2 or comparable examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50% marks in the PCB group. A relaxation in marks for reserved and special categories is allowed as per rule and regulation in force. The counseling procedure is confirmation of documents and admission of students to appropriate seats depending on their merit quota basis controlled by the state government and central government.
