So, Mahaveer Degree College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, Telangana affiliated to Osmania University was set up in the year 2014. This affiliated college is one which has a plethora of courses to offer in arts, commerce and science streams at the undergraduate level. The college stands in a small area of 2.07 acres and has at present 267 students and a team of 12 committed faculty members. Mahaveer Degree College as its annunciation dedicates in providing quality education to the students; it offers three regular degree courses with specialization in Mathematics Statistic & Computer Science and Commerce streams.

A number of facilities are available in the college which are of a standard learning institute and are equipped to meet the needs of the students. IT Infrastructure is in synergy with the Commerce lab where students get practical exposure to the accounting through computer software like tally. The well equipped laboratories provide a real life feel to theoretical concepts and students can actually perform sample commerce and business activities. 

These labs hold different exercises such as JAM sessions, business simulation also known as stock exchange simulation and group B discussion and analysis. College library is vital knowledge resource centre holding all types of functional, informative, fictional, scientific or research materials in form of books, periodicals, journals and newspaper. Also, it does not only facilitate academic activities but also helps to develop research approach of students by literature review and project work.

At present, Mahaveer Degree College has a total of three full-time undergraduate courses which are regular courses. Presently, the college does not offer any part time, online or certification programs. The institution has fixed student intake of 267 to deliberate on offering quality education in certain disciplines. As for the graduation of students, there are no definite data available, however, the educational program of the college can be considered outstanding from the point of view of the courses and the equipment.
