Mahmoodabad College of Management and Technology, Sitapur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Affiliated with University of Lucknow, Mahmoodabad College of Management and Technology, Sitapur, was established in 2008. The institute offers two undergraduate programmes, BA and B.Ed, to meet the needs of the learner inclined to diverse academic areas of specialisation. The college has composite frame of student enrolment of 654 and a teaching staff of 7 which makes sure that students receive their needed attention. Also, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), its focus is on providing quality education in Arts and teacher education. There are different facilities that have been developed in the college in order to complement the student’s experience.

A central library has existed from the time of the establishment of the institution. It has a fine collection of books, magazines, journals, and other works in the form of electronic media for the students and teachers. For those enthusiasts of sports, Mahmoodabad College of Management and Technology provides sports amenities thus, giving more balance to education and physical exercise is complemented by various available amenities in the college both for individual and team involvement. A campus also has an auditorium which when used for occasions, seminars, and cultural activities is part of the development of students. Also, there is adequate learning and teaching facilities in the institution that include well equipped class, laboratories and creativity through talent search in other co-curriculum activities.

 Over all, Mahmoodabad College of Management and Technology is providing only two courses in different fields. BA course takes three years while the B.Ed programme is for two years. As for all these programmes are aimed to deliver the whole-some educational experience in the respective area of specialisation. The total student intake capacity of the college is 654 our college believes in keeping the student intake optimal to assure better faculty involvement and fair control over each individual student.

This means that the admission to Mahmoodabad College of Management and Technology depends mostly on the performance of students. For the BA admission, only merit basis is considered and the list of selected candidates is put on the board of the concerned college. The structure of the B.Ed programme is also similar to the above mentioned, i.e., the admission is done on the basis of merit list prepared from the marks of the qualifying examination and or entrance examination. The colleges follow the policies that are provided by the state government, the UT administration and the universities to which are affiliated with. This has in particular made it possible for capable candidates to be offered a chance to take up their preferred courses at the institution.
