Maitreyi Degree College for Women, Hyderabad was started in the year 1994,mysql is one of the most reputed and dedicated institution for women’s higher education located in the centre of Telangana. Situated at Asif Nagar Road, this affiliated college occupies a very small area of one acre, thus providing concentration. At present the college has 313 students and faculty of 13: this keeps the college intimately educational. Currently, Maitreyi has three full time undergraduate programs offering two degree streams namely Microbiology & Chemistry, B.Com with Computer Applications and Nutrition courses pertaining various branches of the young women’s choice.

The college has put up several installations aimed at improving the learning atmosphere for its students. A good library is an effective source of information, and modern laboratories meet applied practical elements, especially in the sciences. Academic community is vibrant through provision of an auditorium for occasions such as event or seminars on the campus. Sport amenities foster favourable health, combining academic pressures.
