Majdoor Kishan College, Panki, was established in 1984 as an affiliated college, situated in Dandar Kala, Palamau, Jharkhand. It can be said that this institution has been providing educational services for the citizens and regional inhabitants for almost four decades. At present, the college comprises 5,009 enrolments and has 30 faculty members to teach its students which covers 14 courses blended of 3 degree programmes. Majdoor Kishan College has got NAAC accredited, this shows that the college does pay attention to its standards. 

Majdoor Kishan College comprises of some facilities which create the college environment friendly to students and promote the achievement of the best results by the students. Thus, the library plays an important role of the source of knowledge providing students with a great variety of materials for the usage during studying. The college understands the need to embrace modern inputs in students education which are evident by its good information and technology support. Majdoor Kishan College provides a total of 14 course, they are only the full time course. The college is foremost a liberal arts college with a concentrate of its degree in the arts stream and Bachelor of Arts (BA) as its chief academic programme. This includes both general BA degrees and specialised honours courses offered in Sanskrit, History, Mathematics, Urdu, Philosophy, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Home Science, Geography and Hindi. The college also has a business and financial related programme known as the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). Through a total student intake of 5,009, the college also shows the college’s ability to admit large numbers of students.
