Malik Deenar College of Graduate Studies in Kasaragod, came into existence in 2014, is one of the leading colleges for higher education in Kerala, India. The affiliated college is established in the town of Kasaragod and has a course offering for its undergraduate students in terms of specialisation. Located in a 5 acre compound, the institution boasts of adequate infrastructural facilities that supports its executable mission and vision. AT present, the college enroled 353 students with assisted faculties of 9 members of staff. MDCGS has 4 courses in 3 degree levels, focusing on Commerce, Business Administration, and Arts area.

To that extent, the college boasts of quality facilities that complement the learning process. At the centre of academic resources is a well-stocked library, operating from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The library provides a large stock of books, periodicals, journals, magazines, as well as newspapers. Students who want to do B.Com Computer Application get assessed through computer practicals that are conducted in a computerised laboratory for an effective learning procedure. The college also has an event and seminar facility in form of an auditorium to enhance a lively college congregation. They provide quality low-cost foods through a cafeteria, and comfortable accommodation in guest rooms for faculty and family visitors.

MDCGS collectively has four full time undergraduate courses, all of which are developed for students to provide them with professional competency in their respective chosen courses. The college intakes a total of 353 students in all its programmes offered at the college in the present period.

It also offers admissions in various courses offered by the college B.Com Computer Application, B.Com Cooperation, BBA Travel and Tourism Management, and BA English with Journalism. 

As in many schools, sports and extra co-curricular activities are also encouraged in MDCGS. In as much as there are many activities, the college has a rich sports reputation in most game activities at university level. Football and cricket teams have been the unbeaten champions in Kannur University D-Zone competitions. They also compete and emerge champions in volley ball, tug of war, kabbadi, shuttle badminton, chess, and body building at University level tournaments. The college is also engaged when it comes to alumni relations hence, therein lays a strong social relationship sense in the college.
