MREM Medchal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Malla Reddy Engineering College and Management Sciences (MREM Medchal) was set up in the year 2008 and is located in Medchal, Hyderabad, Telangana. This self-financed, AICTE approved college is situated on a 10.2 acre city campus, and offers fifteen courses under three courses. MREM Medchal has the total strength of students 1641 and faculty member is 182, which makes happy environment for all students to pursue engineering and managerial education.

The college has put in place a number of complicated amenities for the improvement of the students’ education. The library spans 10,000 sq. feet for thousands of volumes and titles most of which are far beyond AICTE norms. It also unlocks a flood of e-journals, making research possible and easy to conduct. The library, well stacked with books and journals, computerised classrooms, separate hostels for both boys and girls and administrative block are some of the major amenities of the campus and in addition to these, the campus offers a number of facilities intra Murphy Laboratories for practical exposure, Hitech cafeteria serving different cuisines of the world and sports complex for indoor and outdoor games. To make sure the out-station students are able to accommodate is MREM Medchal has separate hostels for boys and girls with facilities like RO water, quality food, security throughout the day and night.

MREM Medchal offers the 10 courses in B.Tech and MBA courses. These B.Tech programmes include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Advanced Communication Technology and VLSI Design Technology. The college also reflects M.Tech degree programmes in Structural engineering and advanced communication technology. Offering a total of 1,641 seats for all the courses offered, MREM Medchal has been guiding the future of several students.

MREM Medchal mainly relies on entrance exams when it comes to students’ admission. For B. Tech programmes, candidates should have passed the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Telangana. MBA admissions are taken depending on the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test popularly known as TSICET Rankings and 70 % of the student intake being under convener category from ICET Rank and 30% under management quota. For M.Tech, valid GATE score will be needed. These examinations are accepted by the college to justify the fair and competitive chance awarded to students.
