About Malla Reddy Engineering College, Secunderabad
Malla Reddy Engineering College, Secunderabad which is also known as MREC Secunderabad was inaugurated in 2002 and it is a part of the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions (MRGI). National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and NBA have accredited the Malla Reddy Engineering College Secunderabad, and it has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
MREC Secunderabad consists of 20 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of Engineering and Architecture and Management and Business Administration. TS EAMCET, TS PGECET, GATE, and TS ICET are the entrance exams accepted by the institute for MREC admissions.
According to the NIRF 2024 Report, over 943 students were placed during the MREC placements drives 2023 and the top recruiters of the institute are Commvault, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, HP, and many more that participate in the MREC Secunderabad placements drives. MREC Secunderabad is also in affiliation with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH, University).

College infrastructure was just an average only and there were also not much more facilities being provided to us as there were no digital based classrooms , average labs not all equipment were present in the labs.

MREC (Malla Reddy Engineering College) and MRCE (Malla Reddy College of Engineering) are both part of the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions in Hyderabad.
However, MREC is generally considered the better option between the two. MREC is autonomous and has a more established reputation, better infrastructure, experienced faculty, and offers a wider range of courses. It also tends to have better placements and industry connections compared to MRCE. Depending on your expectations going into college, yes. If you'd like, you can look at the placement statistics for each of the two colleges. Choose the one closest to your home if you wish to get ready for college coursework. I consider academics to be the same. While there's no doubting that earning a degree from a reputable university opens up wonderful chances, you are ultimately responsible for going above and beyond. In conclusion, the curriculum, placements, campus, reachability, exposure, and canteens of both collages are good.
