Malwa College of Nursing, Kotkapura, was set up in 2000 and is one of the premier institutes for nurses in Punjab, India. This affiliated college approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and provides various nursing courses to the students interested in the nursing field. Measuring a total of 5 acres, the college has total intake capacity of 128 students intaking various courses in the college. Malwa College of Nursing aims to deliver quality education that is needed for nursing and provides variety for the four specialisations of nursing from the basic level to the bachelor degree level.

Malwa College of Nursing has numerous tailor made special infrastructural buildings that aim at improving learning environment and welfare of students. A rich furniture fitted library is a focal point of knowledge providing students with the acces to the most important texts and resources in nursing field. This comes in a girls’ hostel whereby the female students who are in campus to pursuit of their studies are given quality and comfy accommodation. Malwa College of Nursing has a total of four full time nursing courses, which are at different levels of nursing. These programmes include GNM, ANM, B.Sc Nursing, and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. The college has an intake capacity for different courses is 190.
