Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru (MIT Bengaluru) is one of the premier Constituent Institutions of Manipal Academy of Higher Education base in the year 2021. Bed initiates in the Govindpura village , BSF campus, Yelahanka, Bengaluru has gained a good reputation in terms of teaching and promoting engineering and technological education within a short span of time. MIT Bengaluru is currently authorized to deliver 12 programmes in different fields but the concentration is in B.Tech programmes. The institute provides the correct mix of engineering courses the prominence is given to the Computer Science and Engineering, and its specialities. Today MIT Bengaluru offers 12 full-time B.Tech programmes some of which are CS & Engineering, CS & Engineering AI, CS & Engineering Cyber Security, IT and ECE. Over all, the institute admits 300 students for its five main B.Tech specialisations where each specialisation has 60 admitted student. The admission structure adopted at MIT Bengaluru is sequential and based on merit alone. Applicants have to register for taking the admission and appear for Manipal Entrance test is mandatory for admissions hence the name MET (Manipal Entrance Test). After the MET, the entrance test, a merit list is made according to the obtained scores of the tests.
