Manora Polytechnic College was started in the academic year 2010-2011 and the college is situated in  Pattukkottai, Tamil Nadu as affiliated college. This co-educational institute, located in a campus of 5.77 acres of land, is a AICTE approved college. Manora Polytechnic College has total student intake of 533 and faculty strength of 30 to teach students it offers four diploma engineering programmes. Technical education is the main area of strength in the college and primary areas of specialisation include Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Civil engineering.

Manora Polytechnic College houses several amenities that may be useful to the students in accomplishing all their desired objectives. The expansive learning resource centre is the library with numerous nationwide accredited reference books, magazines, journals, and newspapers with different specialisation. For sports enthusiasts, the campus has provision for volleyball, badminton, cricket, kabbadi, outdoor games, carrom, chess, etc., tendencies. The college also possesses and up-to-date IT facilities and well-equipped laboratory to facilitate optimum practical learning. At present, there are four courses offered in Manora Polytechnic College where all of these are full-time diploma courses with three academic years in each of the offered programmes. The total number of seats that has been accorded approval by the affiliate university for all the programmes offered by the college is 225. Contained within the institute are the following courses; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Tool and Die, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Diploma in Civil Engineering. These programmes aim at preparing students with skills and knowledge as provided in their area of specialisation.
