Being an affiliated college, Manyawar Kanshiram Dasairam Polytechnic was initiated in 2011 in Mahuat Barondha, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. This AICTE approved technical institution provides diploma courses in several fields of engineering stream. The polytechnic occupies a small area of 2.59 acres with a total student intake capacity of the institute is 765 students. The institute offers three programmes of three years duration each in Mechanical Engineering Production, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. As a technical institution, Manyawar Kanshiram Dasairam Polytechnic intends to produce graduates who will pursue efficiency in the engineering industries. 

Manyawar Kanshiram Dasairm Polytechnic has a number of amenities meant to support the students effective learning throughout their study. The college library can be considered as a repository centre where students find many technical literature and other forms of reference. The institute has made good provision on excellent IT facilities and infrastructure and make the students easy acquainted with the latest technologies in the information technology field. About every department has practical laboratories that allow the students to develop practical skill in relation to their areas of specialty. The polytechnic has special facilities for students with special needs such as the boys’ and girls’ hostel for the students who pursuit their accommodation within the school hostels to enhance on their studies. In addition, the institute acknowledges the need to observe healthy bodily shape and has provided a sporting area for its students to enable them have a balanced diet. 

In its present form, Manyawar Kanshiram Dasairm Polytechnic has three full time diploma courses and all of them are regular. Every course has an approved intake capacity of 60 students making the total number of places in all programmes to be 180. The diploma courses in this institute are offered in core engineering disciplines to produce skilled technician and engineers for industry needs.
