Marudhara Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya is an education college which is situated in Barmer Rajasthan India and which focused mainly in teacher training. This affiliated college has been preparing the educators for over decade since it was founded in the year 2006. The institute with an area of 5.2 acres has a hostel for girls and boys and is further recognised by the National council for teacher Education assuring the quality standard of the institute in teacher education field. Currently the college has 199 students and 16 faculty members giving a very healthy student-faculty ratio which enables easier teaching and learning. The institute provides the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for those who would like to become teachers in the society.

Marudhara Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya has put in place various facilities that would improve the learning environment of the students. The central thrust of these facilities, is a reading hall and a library that boasts of having over 6,391 textbooks and reference books neatly Braun classified. It also has more than 30 different subscriptions to journals and magazines where students can gain knowledge and current educational topics. Thus in order to survive in the digital age, Marudhara Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya has setup modern IT facilities. There are sufficient computers and projection facilities to support a computer laboratory, and a separate multimedia laboratory geared towards providing practical experiences of educational technology to the students. We also provide high-speed printing services such as colored printing so as to aid students in their activities.

Marudhara Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya currently offers one full-time course: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two year programme that focuses the student on becoming a teacher and then imparts him the teaching skills as well as teaching knowledge. The institute has intake capacity of 100 only for this course which ensure the quality education along with the aim to serve the large number of teacher training institutes. The B.Ed programme at Marudhara Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya has offers theory and practical sessions and teaching practice to prepare a professional teacher.

To achieve the objective of admitting qualified candidates in its B.Ed programme the following admission process is followed in Marudhara Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidhyalaya. The apllied candidates willing to join in this university need to pass out from the Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur or any other universuty which is recognised by UGC and also they has well qualified in any selection examination of any recognised university. The college provides much importance to attendance and experience and sets its rules that entrants should attend at least 80 classes and 90 school’s internships. In this academic year, the college also conducts seminars and workshops regarding emergent concerns in education. Cricket volleyball basket ball badminton, table tennis carrom etc are conducted annually in and outside the campus to strike a balance between academic and sports criteria.
