Maruti Nandan Teacher Training College is private college affiliated with the  Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, is a co-education college situated in Bharatpur, Rajasthan and was established in 2007. This affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) mainly focus on the teacher training programmes. Situated near Pushpvatika Colony on Nagla Chandwari Road, the college offers two full-time courses, B.Ed and D.El.Ed. Maruti Nandan Teacher Training College has total intake capacity of 194 students in its institution.

Maruti Nandan Teacher Training College offers modern facilities intended for the benefit of students and to promote learning. A knowledge centre is a library that provides books of different authors and editions and periodicals, and other academic facilities and equipment of audio-visual aids. The science and mathematics laboratories are fitted with duplicate number of apparatus, tool and models meant for effective practice teaching and practical examinations from the pupil teachers. To keep pace with technological advancements, the college maintains a computer lab accommodating 25 students at a time, assuring a 1:5:1 computer projection ratio For objectives that involve computing. For the well rounded development of the students, there is a fully equipped sports facility and playground which provide wide space for outdoor games and a fully equipped gym for the exercise enthusiasts. It also has concern with student welfare through a college health centre for first aid case and college canteen for snacks.

As a teacher training institution, Maruti Nandan Teacher Training College provides two main programmes in teacher education. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programmr has a sanctioned strength of one hundred students, and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme with fifty students. They are both full time courses which take a total of two academic years. These programmes are planned to prepare students for professional work with children and development of effective educational programmes in different levels of education system.

Like in most teacher training colleges and universities across the country, the admission standards of B.Ed and D.El.Ed offered by Maruti Nandan Teacher Training College depends on the students’ performance in state-administered entrance tests. Candidates are selected in PTET merit list for B.Ed programme as the college does not offer direct admission to the programme. Likewise, for applying for the D.EL.ED course, the admission is based on the merit obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the state government. These procedures of selection help reduce congestion in classrooms and makes sure that only related and hardworking individuals get selected in the teacher training programmes.
