The Marwar Mahavidyalaya of Nagaur was established in 2011 and it is a affiliated college situated in Kuchaman City, Rajasthan. This NCTE approved institution offers 15 courses spread over eight programmes across the degrees. The college occupies a small plot of land measuring 2.22 acres of land; the college has enroled a population of 1,255 students with a faculty of 20 passionate instructors. Marwar Mahavidyalaya offers Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Application and Education streams for UG, PG ourses etc. suited to the requirement of the student community.

Marwar Mahavidyalaya has numerous installations aimed at improving the learning facility and general development of the learner. Academic resources include a library stocked with approximately 5000 books, periodical and audio-visual stock. It also provides internet and photocopying services as well as providing a general study and research area. Science students are facilitated with well-equipped laboratory to cover all basic fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc., to give practical knowledge about the subjects. The Computer Lab is essential in the overall development of the students’ IT knowledge, basic computer literacy being a component of nearly all programmes. In addition to teaching, Marwar Mahavidyalaya has amenities for sports, an auditorium for conferences and meetings, as well as facilities for separate hostels for boys and girls so as to create a more comprehensive learning atmosphere.

Marwar Mahavidyalaya has 15 courses for undergraduate and postgraduate level students. The programmes it provides for undergraduate degree are BA, B.Com, B.Sc in different streams, BCA, B.Ed integrated. Postgraduate courses showcased by the college include Master of Arts and Master of Science in Geography, Drawing, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology. All are full time based on the college’s policy of offering intense and specific course requirements. The Institute has a large student enrolment of 1,255 for all the programmes that it offers. The degree programmes in the college are comprehensive and cut across a broad area of discipline and specialisations.

Marwar Mahavidyalaya follows the norms of admitting students in various courses on merit that is the students’ performance in the qualifying examinations. In the case of integrated B.Ed programmes, the admission is made according to percentage secured in the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET). The college accepts several tests for admissions. Being a constituent college, Marwar Mahavidyalaya also has a transport service. It also has a health centre that conducts first aid to see to it that its student list is well taken care of.
