Marwar Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Jodhpur, Rajasthan was established in 2006. This co-educational college occupies 2.5 acres and is intended to prepare future educators. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, the institute offer four specialised courses in the field of education. The college admits 546 students annually and has a faculty of 39, and therefore has a good student contact ratio. The D.El.Ed course, which is for duration of two years and is meant for those who are already in the profession of teaching elementary education then the course offers 100 seats. The two composite programmes are B.A. B. Ed and B.Sc. B. Ed, with a capacity of 50 students affiliated to the faculty where a subject major is followed by training in teaching.
