The admission procedure in Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women is based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admissions to the B.Ed programme are in accordance with the policy framed by the state government, the U.T. administration and the affiliated university. The D.Ed course includes an additional Urdu language test of 30 marks. This is conducted to assess the candidate's knowledge in the subject Urdu. The candidates have to score at least 33% marks in the test to be eligible for admission. However, marks secured in the Urdu test are not included while determining the overall merit.
