Hello aspirant,

You need not to come out of counselling or withdraw your counselling procedure because if you get any undesired seat in 7th round of JOSAA counselling then you can just leave the seat without paying any seat acceptance fee. It's not necessary to pay seat acceptance fee if you get a seat. Leave it as it is.

Hope you get it.

Hello ,

As your query is you applied for the JOSAA counselling process and till 6th round of counselling you didn't get any seat but in the 7th round of counselling that is on 18th July you were allotted seat now you want to withdraw from the seat but according to voucher you can withdraw the seat before 17 July only.

I would like to tell you that there is nothing to worry about all you need to do is to write an application form to JOSAA conveying the issue that since you didn't get any seat till 6th round of counselling that ended on 17th of July so you wanted to withdraw your counselling process but since you got the seat at the 7th round of counselling and with that you are not satisfied you want to withdraw the seat as since they haven't mentioned about those candidates who will get the seat after 17th of July so therefore they would have no option but to accept your withdrawal request of seat.

So at first right an applicant letter to JOSAA complaining the issue or describing them or even communicate with them about the issue with you they will definitely help you with that.

Further if you need any other detail about the counselling process you can please let me know in the comments section below we will definitely help you with that.

I hope your query is solved.

Thank you.

Hello aspirant!

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but once you accept a seat and take admission in a college provided to you in any of the seven rounds of JOSAA counselling, I don't think you will be allowed to appear for the CSAB round so you should even let go of this thought. I hope this information was helpful!

I wish you all the very best!

Hi Tahreem,

See you don't need to worry. You can apply for the spot round conducted by CSAB which will help you get seats through your JEE Mains score. You can get admission in SFTIs also through CSAB. Look for the spot rounds in any counselling processes. You'll be elligible to participate in all of them.

Good Luck !!

Hello aspirant  ,
Yes, you can still participate in csab special round even after getting a college in 7th round. You have to report at the alloted Institute in the last round.
You don't need to pay the fee in that institute but you have to submit the affidavit for the csab counselling.
Hope it helps!!

Hello Mayur, There were 8 round of counseling in 2018, you might wait till the final round in order to get admission or you can wait for all rounds to get finished and then go for the spot round admission because there are many seats which are left vacant and you might get a seat in that round. You can also try in some of the private colleges like Thapar University or UPES which take admission through JEE Marks.

Hello,

Let me tell you that, Provisional admission letter is the file that you  downloaded as the result of your seat allotment from JoSSA website.

It shows which branch you have got through josaa counselling and in which institute!!!!!

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Hello dear
It will be difficult to say that what will be the expected cut off in 7 th round.
First of all you donot mentioned the college about which you want to know ; because each college has different cut offs according the demand and preferences of the students.
But generally cut off goes around 0-2000 rank above the previous ( 6 th ) round.( Vary according to the college and branch ).
So please specify you questions more precisely .
Good luck

Hi aspirant,

Congratulations on your SC rank or score. It is a pretty good rank and more likely to get you a seat. But then the counselling results majorly lie on the kind of choices you have made and the way you have prioritised them. I suggest you wait till the next round then apply for csab if it did not click.

See  with this percentile or if i guess your rank should be around 60k, you should have got a nit not a good one but the lower nit's , if  you have filled the preferences correctly. If you don't get a college in round 7 then you can go for spot round councelling, maybe you will get a college in spot round.

Else take a drop , prepare well for next year.
