Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital is a recognised dental institution established in 1986 and is situated inBangalore, Karnataka. This affiliated college is recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC). At present, the faculty of the institute is 58 members and it offers a quality education in the field of dental science. The college has a total population of 426 students among whom 78 percent are undergraduate students and the remaining 22 percent are postgraduate students. 

Education offered at Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital is backed by all the necessary amenities and provisions to improve students’ development. The campus facilities include accommodation of boys and girls in hosts for day students from towns. A reasonable equipped library is considered the knowledge cnetre of the establishment while the IT facilities facilitate the contemporary modes of learning. The college have a health centre that provide first aid services for the students physically, health-wise. Regarding students’ activities, sports facilities are within the school’s compound. Such occasion and seminars are held in the auditorium and different events which promote academic culture. There is a cafeteria available at the college.

In total, Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital provides 10 courses at the two levels of degree. The BDS programme is at the premier level, and different MDS specialties can be pursued at the postgraduate level. Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital’s admission is centralised and is done on merit criteria and another proper standard procedure. For BDS programme, the admission process is done only through NEET UG which stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate. Candidates seeking to become an aspiring doctor have to appear for NEET-UG and then get into the counseling programme in order to be allotted a seat. For the postgraduate MDS programmes, the eligibility of the candidates depends on the score of NEET-MDS examination which is conducted generally in the December-January of the academic year. These are the following national level entrance exams accepted by the college where it tries to maintain a fair and a competitive admissions standard.
